A normal week this week for the most part.  We had a concert from Stephen Beus, which was a super amazing opportunity.  Also we played some more soccer with some members and it was a great time as well.  We are finding some great people, especially students at the moment.  It's been a great time to talk to people and try to find someone to teach about the restored gospel.  Mission life is great!  Finding little blessings along the way is key and they sure are there to find.  Just remember the love we should have towards one another and how it is by our love towards others that we are found to be the disciples of Christ.

John 13:34-35
34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

Have a great week and make someone smile today!

Hello everyone.  Another week gone by.  We had Zone Conference which was pretty good.  We've been talking a lot about changing our mission culture and it was an interesting discussion with everyone.  It was a great time and it was a lot of fun to see people.  We also had exchanges with the Jyväskylä Elders this past week.  That was a great time and they are just wonderful Elders.  They do great work and they know how to have a good time as well!  Also we got to attend a baptism in our ward this past week.  That was super cool.  It was a man that we contacted on the street.  After getting his contact information, we found that he lived in the Sister's area.  So they were able to teach him and he was baptized this past Sunday.  Talk about a really amazing blessing.  The fruits of your labors may not always be seen, but sometimes Heavenly Father blesses you with a glimpse of what you have done and helped out with.  So that's pretty amazing.  So just know, that if you don't see the results of your labor now, they are there and you are blessed for it!  Have an amazing week!

Hello everyone!  First off, thank you for all the birthday wishes!  It was a great day.  Wow, this past week was so busy.  It was fantastic!  I also got sick, so that's cool.  But we had a leadership meeting with the district leaders, so that was a lot of fun and I think very effective.  We also have been teaching this one lady and that's been going well.  She seems very open to trying.  But yeah, overall this past week was great and we saw a lot of great things happen.  Oh!  I also got to go down to downtown Helsinki and do work there.  Oh, it was so much fun contacting people down there.  So much energy and just so much fun.  That was surely a blessing.  Something I want to impress on all of you is the joy of really trying to push yourself and do things that make you uncomfortable.  Literally, this past week that is what has given me the most joy.  I'm overall happy and focused on others when I make it a challenge for myself.  So I extend the same challenge to you all.  Do something this week that takes you a bit out of your comfort zone and see how it can change you!  Have a fantastic week!

So this past week went well!  We had Zone Conference so that was good.  Lot's to learn from a new mission president.  But yeah, also transfer calls happened, but nothing changed!  Another 9 weeks with the Swede!  It'll be awesome.  But yeah, overall, been a busy week of finding and trying to find someone to teach.  We're almost there!  So, that was about it.  I'm sharing this talk with you because we watched it at Zone Conference, and it was super good.  So watch it and feel the Spirit!  Have a great week!

Hello everyone!  I totally thought that I sent one of these last week, but I guess not!!  But these past two weeks have been good.  Really busy finding and with all the extra things that are going on.  But hey, I think it's great.  The work is going forward well.  We had a great experience talking with this lady on the bus.  At first, she wasn't interested.  We gave her a Restoration pamphlet and after about 10 min she started to ask questions and she turned into a potential investigator for the Sisters!!  Talk about blessings.  But, that kind of stuff is truly what makes this work great.  But for this week, I want to stress the importance of loving everyone and really trying to reach out to them.  We have trials in our lives, but if we just look around, you won't have to go very far in order to see someone who has it worse than you.  So reach out, be a friend, and be the child of our Heavenly Father that He can trust to make a difference.  Because we all can.  Have an awesome week!

Hello everyone!  So we got to meet our new Mission President, and he is amazing!  He'll do so much for this mission and I'm super stoked to see where the work goes because of it.  We got to talk with him a lot after Zone Conference, so that was really nice.  He and Sister Aura will be and are awesome.  But yeah, then we also had exchanges with the Lahti Elders and with the Assistants this next week!  Both great experiences and nice times to learn and become a better missionary.  We just have some amazing missionaries here and I'm so glad to be able to work with so many of them!!  But yeah, that was a summary of the week.  Oh, and something of a little less importance is that in a blind chocolate taste test, Elder Vennerholm, a Swede, chose American chocolate over Swedish and Finnish!!!  So that was hilarious.  But, overall it's been a great week.  Things are going well here.

Hey, I just want you all to realize how special you are in God's eyes.  Know your worth and then get outside yourself.  We learn the most about our character in the way that we treat other people and how much we can forget about ourselves.  Look out and turn out.  It requires effort and action but it will never be a waste.  Have a fantastic week!
